Site Description |

|
Wet lowland forest on limestone and other rock in hilly landscape. The area contains hot water springs, waterfalls and mineral seeps that attract large numbers of butterflies. The area is rich in wildlife including many rare and vulnerable species, and has important mineral caves to which elephants regularly migrate over long distances to obtain essential salts. |
