Site Description

Some small lakes surrounded by steep mountains with lush forest, rich in ferns and orchids. The scenery is very attractive. The area provides a habitat for several rare animals and many birds.
Lake moat is a volcanic lake and has an area of 900 ha with a maximum depth about 23 metres. The lake is a high altitude depression surrounded by hills and mountains, and fumaroles near the northwest shore are evidence of contiuing volcanic activity. |
