During wet season, the water surface of Lake Taliwang could extend to 10,000 ha (Sarnita 1992 in Monk, et al. 1997) |

The Taliwang lake and swamp are located in kecamatan Taliwang, kelurahan Taliwang and Siteluk. It's about 5 km from Taliwang city. At western is bordered by Taliwang road - Sumbawa Besar, at eastern by mountains and at northern and southern is the rice field. This location is about 110 km from Sumbawa Besar and can be reached by car to Taliwang direction. |
