Site Description

A small, high altitude (montane) swamp with open water and floating peat. The peat is about 2m thick. It is surrounded by a phragmites vegetation and Eupatorium. The main vegetation is Juncus effusus and Xyris melanocephala, with less abudant, Scirpus mucronatus. Phragmites karka is the most abundant plant.
